project process

Initial Contact, Site Inspection, and Estimation

Initial Contact, Site Inspection, and Estimation

Initial Contact, Site Inspection, and Estimation

The project process consists of an initial contact to the customer, at this time we discuss details of the project, and we schedule a time to visit the site.  The initial call gives us the opportunity to discuss the project and identify the needs of the customer. Site inspection means that we come to the project location and verify the conditions. An onsite inspection is often the only way to know exactly what’s required and how long it will take. We walk the client through issues and areas to be covered and present the options available.

Proposal and Project Approval

A proposal is prepared for the customer with a project scope and detailed project process. All recommendations and materials will be on the proposal. This is when adjustments can be made to work with the customer to meet their needs.

Once proposal is approved, our project management team starts planning and scheduling out the project.

Material Orders and Work Scheduling

Material Orders and Work Scheduling

Standard paint colors and materials are readily available, but certain specialized coatings can have significant lead times, so the quicker we can order materials, the better.

We work around the customer's needs to complete the work in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. This sometimes means closing off the jobsite for safety to the surrounding public, and covering areas not to be painted, such as taping off windows and other areas.

The application of the product can be done in one or multiple mobilizations depending on the project. Some areas may need to be blocked off to allow appropriate dry time depending on the product specifications.

We are committed to maintaining a clean and efficient workspace at all times.

Project Completion

Project Completion

Upon completion of the scope of work, the foreman performs a final job walk with customer to insure all items are completed; if necessary, a list of pending items, called a ‘punch list’, is written down and crews complete/address these items to close out the project.

The foreman ensures that the customer is completely satisfied with the project's outcome prior to marking the project as complete.
